Growth Expectations

The Central Transportation Planning Staff has shared new growth estimates. Especially Allston but also many other parts of Boston and a few pockets in Belmont and Watertown are looking at significant growth. .

Ridership and Trip Counts on the 71 and 73

I frequently get asked questions about the relative count of buses on the routes 71 and 73. Often riders on one line suspect that riders on the other are getting better service.

Red and Orange Line Reliability.

Helpful presentation from the T on what to expect when in the way of capacity and reliability improvements. Bottom line: Improvement will be steady and will reach their maximum level around 2025.
