Senior CharlieCard Day in Watertown on May 11
Senator Brownsberger is sponsoring a Senior CharlieCard Day on Wednesday, May 11, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Watertown Senior Center, 31 Marshall Street, Watertown. Seniors age 65 or older can save a trip to the MBTA offices in Downtown Boston and apply for a Senior CharlieCard at the Senior Center on this one day. Staff from the office of Senator Brownsberger will be on hand to take a photo and process applications which will be provided.
Join the 20th Annual Mother’s Day Walk For Peace on May 8
Celebrating the Courage of Community is the theme of the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s 20th Annual Mother’s Day Walk for Peace taking place on Sunday, May 8. The walk begins at Town Field Park at Fields Corner in Dorchester and ends with a peace rally at Boston City Hall. There are multiple ways to participate from walking as an individual, creating a team, and fundraising virtually, to being a sponsor or making a donation. You can find all the details at this link.
