The Soldiers’ Homes

We hope we have identified governance changes that will make future tragedies in that setting much less likely. The legislature still has more work to do to assure that elderly or disabled veterans in every region have access to the care they need, whether in a “home” or at home.

COVID and Frontline Health Care Workers

The hospital system is feeling a lot of strain. The risks of indoor unmasked crowds remain very real and if we elect to take those risks, we may be contributing to the overloading of workers who have already endured too much.
