Reducing Emissions in MA

After a long day of debate, the Senate passed the Barrett-Pacheco omnibus energy bill last night — significant legislation to continue movement in Massachusetts towards a cleaner energy future.

Earlier this week, Senator Pacheco’s Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change released an omnibus bill climate change bill. The bill combines dozens of ideas for reducing carbon emissions, including authorizations for powerful new market mechanisms.

On July 26, Neighborhood Solar announced an extension of its current program, because of the assaults on solar in Massachusetts.
