A good news item on plane noise

Starting on January 16, most communities will experience a reduction in plane traffic late at night. This is the result of the reinstatement of a noise abatement procedure that had been suspended since June. Many of us were unaware of the suspension of the procedure, so this good news is unanticipated.

Parcel 13

Watertown Community Foundation Awards Grants

The Watertown Community Foundation (WCF) Board of Directors has awarded $19,000 in “Healthy Watertown” grants funded by Tufts Health Plan Foundation to these ten nonprofit organizations serving Watertown.

An article in the Harvard Business Review discusses what makes Silicon Valley special. The central thesis is that Silicon Valley keeps innovating through the mobility of talent across companies.
