The dangerous Charles River pathway / street intersections

I just want to pass along this video that highlights the severe danger and lack of accessibility at several major street crossings along the Paul Dudley White path on the Charles River:

This is an issue that affects Watertown, Allston, Brighton and really anyone who uses the riverfront at all. I hope that this is the year that we start to fix these longstanding, life-threatening problems with our parkland pathways.

MassDOT project 608129 offers some hope that the worst intersection (Cambridge St / River St) might be fixed this year, but I have not seen the plans to be sure.
