Small businesses can apply for economic injury disaster loans due to snow

The Small Business Administration has informed us that due to the snow and severe weather received in Massachusetts between January 27 and February 22 of this year, small businesses in particular counties, including Middlesex and Suffolk, may apply for disaster assistance in the form of direct working capital loans.

To learn more about this available assistance, we direct you to this declaration notice and fact sheet which provide information on eligibility, credit requirements, interest rates, and loan terms and limits. The filing application deadline is February 15, 2016.

For more information, contact SBA’s Disaster Assistance Customer Service Center by calling  (800) 659-2955, emailing [email protected], or visiting SBA’s Web site at www.sba.gov/disaster. Hearing impaired individuals may call (800) 877-8339. Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure Web site at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
