I am writing in support of S. 126, An Act relative to the shipping of alcohol.
Massachusetts is one of the few states nationally that continues to prohibit the shipping of alcohol by licensed retailers. Shipping alcohol direct to consumers will open up new channels of business for alcohol retailers and small producers in Massachusetts.
This bill creates an economic benefit to the small businesses; I hope the committee will report S.126 favorably.
