On September 1, new parking rates will go into effect at at parking facilities across the MBTA system. This is the first parking price change in 10 years. While there will be some price decreases to encourage parking at underutilized facilities, rates will be increased at the busiest facilities. These changes should help alleviate parking pressures during peak commuting times.
This website has a list of the pricing changes across the system. This presentation was given to the Fiscal and Management Control Board includes more detailed information about the policy and usage at different facilities.
