I greatly appreciate the opportunity to share my budgetary priorities for the FY25 budget.
The following themes are of central importance to me:
- Increase the total operating and capital transfers to the MBTA.
- Address the housing crisis by funding longer term housing support and job programs.
- Preserve increases to the Department of Conservation and Recreation operating budget.
- Meet commitment to the Student Opportunity Act.
- Preserve funding for services for returning citizens.
- Preserve funding for mobile mental health and other alternatives to police response.
