Riders who walk from mid-Belmont to the Washington Street at Bright Road stop on the 74 Bus have been particularly concerned about the proposed changes in the 72/74/75 group of routes. In response, the MBTA has furnished the additional information below, showing how headways (spacing between buses) will be improved under the plan, including headways for the 75 which will continue to serve that stop.

I am a residence in Belmont and have been taking bus 74 to work and home in last 20 years. I am very concerned about cutting the route on Bright Road and Washington Street. Not only myself and many other people depend on Bus 74, especially during rush hours. Thank you.
Thanks for weighing in, Yvonne. Hope you have also weighed in through the official channel?
