This is a study that I had sought to put some numbers behind the general perception that all the development we are doing will have a cumulative impact on regional congestion. The study is extremely complex, but the bottom line is that congestion is going to get considerably worse in the inner core — Boston and immediately surrounding communities — over the decades to come.
Thank you Senator for quantifying a trend we all are experiencing. What is the legislature doing to address congestion in the region as a whole? In my opinion this isn’t just a transportation issue, but one that has to tie in housing and job opportunities as well.
