Senator Brownsberger was invited to submit an article for the summer issue of Insights focusing on sustainability published by the ACEC/MA (American Council of Engineering Companies). As sponsor of Bill S.344, which calls for creating a process to address catastrophic flooding in Massachusetts, Senator Brownsberger’s piece addresses the issue of sea level rise as a consequence of climate change and how state and municipal governments must plan for impacts on critical infrastructure.
