Senator Brownsbeerger submitted the following written testimony to the Joint Committee on Municipalities and Regional Government.

TO:          Committee on Municipalities and Regional Government

 FROM:    Senator William N. Brownsberger

RE:           H3657, An Act establishing the position of town administrator in the town of Belmont

 DATE:      October 22, 2013

I am writing in support of H3657, An Act establishing the position of town administrator in the town of Belmont.

This bill formalizes the existing position of Town Administrator and clarifies the duties of the position.  The provisions of the bill were developed after a great deal of research by an appointed Government Structure Review Committee and were approved by Town Meeting.

I hope that the Committee will report H3657 favorably.
