The struggle to provide an adequate supply of affordable housing is deeply interwined with the larger struggle to reduce inequality. I will work with my colleagues towards the goal of delivering meaningful housing reforms in the coming session.

Jim Brooks Stabilization Act
Recently, the Joint Committee on the Judiciary voted to put the Jim Brooks Stabilization Act to study, which means ending its prospects in this legislative session. While I am concerned about displacement, I voted to put the bill to study because it was flawed in four ways.
