Bail Reform in the Criminal Justice Package

Our bail reform draft improved through the legislative negotiation process. It should result in fewer low-level non-dangerous offenders locked up pre-trial.

Student Loan Bill of Rights

I was very pleased to vote for the student loan bill of rights legislation. It will help a little on a big problem. It will force loan servicers to treat students fairly.
