Registration is now open for the 2016 Cleanup which will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 9am – 12pm. A volunteer appreciation picnic with food and prizes will follow at the Hatch Shell.
If you would like to volunteer in Brighton, space will be more limited than in years past due to the closure of our usual staging location in the Artesani Parking Lot on Soldiers Field Road. More information on the closure can be found on the DCR website: http://www.mass.gov/eea/docs/dcr/news/2016/artesani2016-4-30.pdf I will tentatively plan to stage in the small parking lot at 1071 Soldier’s Field Road in Brighton, near Charles River Canoe and Kayak, which is ¼ of a mile downriver (east) from the Artesani Parking Lot.
If you’re interested in participating this year, register here: http://www.crwa.org/charles-river-cleanup/event-registration
We take groups on a first come, first serve basis – register soon to reserve your preferred location.
