“The Affordable Healthcare Act Explained” – Presentation in Belmont


The public is invited to a presentation given by Health Care For All on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Assembly Room of the Belmont Public Library, 336 Concord Ave., Belmont. Attendees will learn about the benefits of the ACA and changes to be aware of in the new law. Bring your questions. 

This presentation will provide give in-depth overview of the major components of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) – national health reform. The presentation will begin with a look at the current health insurance system in Massachusetts since the passage and implementation of the 2006 health reform law.  Also discussed will be how the law served as a model for the ACA and the ways that the ACA will transform the health insurance marketplace in Massachusetts.
