TALK OF THE TOWN: Sharing the Passions of Notable Belmont Residents

You may already be familiar with MEET BELMONT, the Community Information Fair that takes place in August each year. In 2017, the Belmont Vision 21 Implementation Committee is expanding MEET BELMONT with a new event called “Talk of the Town.” The program, co-sponsored by Belmont Public Schools, will feature four notable Belmont residents, each sharing ideas and insights from their work and/or personal interests:

Clayton Christensen, Harvard Business School
Alfie Kohn, Author and Lecturer on Education and Parenting
Rupal Patel, Northeastern University Communication Sciences and Disorders and entrepreneur
Elissa Ely, Physician, Writer, Founder of the WBUR Remembrance Project

“Talk of the Town” will be hosted by journalist/author/radio host Jane Clayson Johnson and will be held on Tuesday evening, March 21 from 7pm to 9pm at the Chenery Middle School Auditorium. Admission is free and all Belmont young adults (high school age and up) and adults are invited to attend. Pre-registration is encouraged and priority seating will be given to those who register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/talk-of-the-town-belmont-tickets-31323926708
