Citizens for Public Schools and Cambridge Retired Educators United are jointly organizing a public forum on April 30 about the issue of new graduation requirements following the voters’ removal of the MCAS requirement.
The forum will be from 6:00 to 7:30 in the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School library at 459 Broadway.
According to the organizers, most of the forum will be devoted to small group discussions about three questions:
- What should students know and be able to do by the time they graduate from high school?
- How should students demonstrate their readiness to graduate?
- What should high school look like to prepare students for your recommended graduation requirements?
See the PDF event flyer for additional details. There is an online registration form.
