Planned Testing in the Fenway: Loud Bangs Expected, Not Cause for Alarm

Over the next two weeks, the Army Corps of Engineers will be conducting planned testing of support structures as part of the Muddy River Restoration Project. Residents may hear “loud, gunshot-like bangs” as part of the testing that will last for less than a second.  The noise is not cause for alarm. Eight tests have been scheduled thus far: four will take place today between 9:30 and 11 am and four will take place tomorrow from 1 to 2:30 pm.
