The Health Connector provided a briefing today to legislative offices to provide information that would be useful to constituents who have or will apply for health insurance through the Connector. The briefing materials, which you will find below, provide suggestions for applying for health insurance, checking into the status of your application, navigating the website, and the kinds of extended or temporary coverage the Connector will provide due to the backlog of applications they have yet to process. Applying through the website remains the fastest way to get insured (if not the fastest way to apply for insurance). If you are experiencing long waiting times on the phone, be advised that the Connector’s customer service line is busiest on Mondays and daily from 9-10 am.
