The 2011-12 session included some important good news in the environmental area, but there were also some disappointments.
The session ended with the passage of in important animal welfare bill, but left several other bills hanging.
The Governor signed the sentencing bill this morning. I am very hopeful, based on statements that many in leadership positions have made, that we will continue to work on these issues in the next session.
