Belmont/Trapelo Corridor Project Out to Bid
In the fine print of legal notices on page B4 of the Boston Globe of Saturday, August 25, 2012, there was a piece of good news for Belmont and Watertown: The state has put out to bid the reconstruction of Belmont Street and Trapelo Road.
$14.6 Million approved for Belmont-Trapelo Corridor
The Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization today approved funding for the reconstruction of the Belmont-Trapelo Corridor in Fiscal 2012.
State Recognizes Belmont/Trapelo Project
For over 5 years, the Town of Belmont has been designing the reconstruction of Belmont Street and Trapelo Road — the busiest traffic corridor in town.
State-federal funding for the actual construction may still be five years away, but the good news is that the state has finally placed the project in its long term funding plans.
