Dr. Jeffrey Shea, a social studies teacher at Belmont High School, was awarded the 2015 Massachusetts Teacher of the Year by Education Commissioner Mitchell Chester on May 6 at a ceremony that filled the school fieldhouse with students, teachers, parents, community members, and colorful banners. Senator Brownsberger presented a Senate citation to Jeff Shea in recogntion of his achievement. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education issued this press release.
