ACLU’s Legal Intake Line

Senator Brownsberger’s office has received several calls asking how constituents can support families in the Senator’s district impacted by President Trump’s executive order relative to immigrants and refugees.

For families seeking legal assistance, the ACLU of Massachusetts’s legal intake line is staffed Monday through Friday from 9-5: 617-482-3170 x100.

A letter can also be faxed to 617-451-0009 or mailed to the following address:

ACLU of Massachusetts
Attn: Legal Intake
211 Congress Street, 3rd Floor
Boston, MA 02110

On Saturday, the ACLU of Massachusetts directed anyone being detained as a result of the order, or families and friends of detainees, to contact 617-482-3170 ext. 330. That statement also welcomed calls to that number “from lawful permanent members who are having to cancel travel plans due to concern that they will not be allowed to enter the U.S.”

Chief Counsel
Office of Senator Brownsberger
