This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The annual State House commemoration will be a part of a larger set of events on April 24, 2015, organized by the Massachusetts Committee to Commemorate the Armenian Genocide. You can review the Committee’s website, which includes details about the history of the Genocide and information about the Centennial Commemoration, here. The State House portion of events will take place from 1:15-1:45 outside of the State House in Ashburton Park, to be followed by a procession to the Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway.
