MassDOT has passed along an update on the Bowker Overpass Project:
6/29/15 Update:
STORROW DRIVE EASTBOUND TO BOWKER OVERPASS
During the week of June 29, 2015 the contractor will be closing the Storrow Drive Eastbound off ramp to Bowker Overpass daily (as needed) beginning Monday, June 29, 2015 through Wednesday, July 1, 2015 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to continue with the Stage III deck demolition.
STORROW DRIVE WESTBOUND TO BOWKER OVERPASS
During the week of June 29, 2015 the contractor will be closing the Storrow Drive Westbound off ramp to Bowker Overpass daily (as needed) beginning Monday, June 29, 2015 through Wednesday, July 1, 2015 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to continue with the Stage III deck demolition
STORROW DRIVE WESTBOUND OFF RAMP TO CHARLESGATE WEST
The Storrow Drive Westbound off ramp to Charlesgate West will be narrowed to a ten foot travel lane (as needed). Traffic to be positioned to the far left or far right of the ramp pending progress of work on Bowker Overpass. This ramp narrowing is expected to take place beginning Monday, June 29, 2015 through Wednesday, July 1, 2015 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to continue with the Stage III deck demolition
BEACON STREET (BETWEEN CHARLESGATE EAST AND WEST)
Daily lane closures (as needed) on Beacon Street will take place beginning Monday, June 29, 2015 through Wednesday, July 1, 2015 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (as needed ) to continue with the deck demolition of the Bowker Overpass. The lane closures will alternate right to left as the deck demolition progresses over Beacon Street
COMMONWEALTH AVENUE WESTBOUND (BETWEEN CHARLESGATE EAST AND WEST)
Daily lane closures (as needed) on Commonwealth Avenue Westbound will take place beginning Monday, June 29, 2015 through Wednesday, July 1, 2015 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (as needed) to continue with Stage III deck demolition of the Bowker Overpass. Right lane closures will transition to left lane closures as the deck demolition of the Bowker Overpass progresses across Commonwealth Avenue Westbound.
COMMONWEALTH AVENUE EASTBOUND (BETWEEN CHARLESGATE EAST AND WEST)
Daily lane closures (as needed) on Commonwealth Avenue Eastbound will take place beginning Monday, June 29, 2015 through Wednesday, July 1, 2015 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (as needed) to continue with Stage III deck demolition of the Bowker Overpass. Left lane closures will transition to right lane closures as the deck demolition of the Bowker Overpass progresses across Commonwealth Avenue Eastbound.
