Senator Brownsberger and Representative Hecht are sponsoring a cleanup of the Watertown Bike Path on Saturday, May 2, from 10:00-12:00, and hope that you can volunteer to help reduce litter along the path. The activity is part of Watertown Helps Out organized by the Watertown Community Foundation. Please sign up at this link Give Back Time. The meeting point will be the bike path entrance at Nichols Avenue and Arlington Street. A 2-hour commitment is requested. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can get dirty. Bring work gloves if you have them. There will be some water, but we suggest you bring your own water bottle. Children are welcome to volunteer with an adult. Join us early from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for a kickoff breakfast at the Arsenal Project (Arsenal Mall on the Google map) inside in front of Old Navy and Dunkin’ Donuts to pick up your free T-shirt and connect with other volunteers.
