On Wednesday, May 21 a fire destroyed a three-family home in Belmont. As a result, nine people have been displaced and all of their property has been lost. Several concerned citizens, part of the Belmont Corner Neighborhood Association (BCNA), have rallied together to establish a fund to provide immediate financial assistance to these victims. The BCNA is in touch with all of the victims and are working with them to identify their needs and assist them however they can.
UPDATE: June 16, 2014
The original “Fundly” site to assist the residents of the Marlboro St. Fire raised over $4,500.
Donations may now be made to a Belmont Corner fund established at Belmont Savings Bank.
Checks should be payable to “58 Marlboro St Belmont Fire Fund” and be mailed or brought to:

Thank you, Will, for your support. We are also looking forward to our Marketplace Yard Sale on Marlboro St this coming Saturday from 9-2. All donations and earnings go directly to the fund where every last penny goes to the victims.
We are hoping to piggy-back on the traffic heading to Belmont Town Day. If you and your constituents have time, please join us!
Warmest regards,
