Senate Final Budget and Local Aid Numbers

The final outcome of the Senate budget debate is now available online.

The Senate budget reflects a tax revenue estimate that was over $1.5 billion lower than the House estimate.  It was based on later data and there is consensus that the Senate estimate is correct.  So, the conference committee that will be working out the differences between the House and Senate budget votes will need to move closer to the Senate totals in many program areas.
