Event: Transportation Planning for Allston Landing Interchange

Not sure if Allston Landing is in Will’s district, but some folks might take interest in this discussion on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 (5-7 PM), sponsored by Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and Harvard Alumni Association.

“Join fellow alumni and hear from Joseph Beggan, Senior Manager for Transportation, Harvard Planning Office on the changes occurring in Allston and Harvard’s role in the area. The 1-90 Allston Interchange Improvement Project is a unique opportunity to knit together pieces of Boston separated by the construction of rail infrastructure in the 19th century and the Massachusetts Turnpike extension over a half-century ago. When is too early or too late to make serious transportation plans? How is this all being paid for? What is Harvard’s role short-term and long-term?

Following the presentation, guests are encouraged to attend Aeuronaut Allston, a summertime beer garden hosted at Zone 3, 267 Western Avenue.”
