The Commonwealth Conversations tour is an opportunity to tell a group of MA senators what’s on your mind by attending a public forum or submitting testimony at the tour website. The input senators receive will help them know what’s important to residents across the Commonwealth as the Senate sets its agenda for the next two-year legislative session. This BuzzFeed piece, “Commonwealth Conversations And Why The Heck You Should Care!,” posted by Senate President Stan Rosenberg, reaches out to millennials via popular social media to let them know their voices matter.

We encourage all ages to attend our upcoming Metro Boston tour on Wednesday, March 4. There are two public forums during the day-long tour:

  1. 9:00-10:15 a.m., Brighton High School, 25 Warren St., Brighton. Senators and the public will hear from a panel on education, and another on transportation and economic development. The microphone will then be open for public comment.
  2. 6:30-8:30 p.m., Roxbury Community College Media Arts Center, 1234 Columbus Avenue, Roxbury Crossing. The full two-hour town hall forum is open to public comment.

If you are unable to attend, visit the tour website and go to the “Talk to the Tour” tab and submit your ideas by email. Indicate that you are a constituent of Senator Brownsberger’s so we receive a copy of your testimony. You can also post your thoughts to the comment section in this post and share your ideas with other readers to generate a dialogue on the issues you feel are priorities for the Senate.

The tour is of course not the only time you can share your ideas with Senator Brownsberger. You can reach him throughout the year by phone, email, scheduling an appointment, going to office hours, or posting to this website.

We look forward to seeking folks on the tour March 4.

Thank you for your consideration
