Registry of Motor Vehicles Reminder Service * 1 comment
Many of you were concerned when the Registry of Motor Vehicles announced that it was going to stop sending out license renewal reminders by mail. This cost savings measure seemed like a major potential inconvenience and I conveyed my concerns on your behalf to the Registrar of Motor Vehicles, Rachel Kaprielian.
The Registrar has come up with a free electronic reminder service to which you can now subscribe if you wish. Just click the logo above to travel directly to the reminder service subscription page.
Will – thanks for the notification, would have never heard about it otherwise. I guess the obvious comment is “jeeze – do you think they could have sent out one last mailing with this info in it?”. In any event, the decision to save money by eliminating reminders and substituting with electronic reminders is IMHO a good one. Thanks for the “heads-up”
