Boston 2024 Olympic Bid Community Meeting in Arlington on June 1

Senator Brownsberger shares Senator Donnelly’s invitation to residents from neighboring communities to attend a town hall meeting in Arlington on Monday, June 1, 6:30-8:30 p.m. to hear from representatives from Boston 2024. Senator Donnelly is hosting this event as an opportunity to meet the proponents of the Olympic bid and ask questions about their proposal.   1. I don’t know anyone who lives in Boston who wants the Olympics here. If the MBTA can’t handle normal travel, how could they manage a million more? No one will ever convince me that Boston will not spend s fortune on it. We have infrastructure projects that need doing long before we need an Olympics. I hope to attend this meeting and see if there’s anything that can change my mind.
